How to Play Word Quest Search

🎯 Goal

Find every word from the word list hidden inside the letter grid. Words can run horizontally, vertically and diagonally, and on harder levels they may also be spelled backwards. Find them all to complete the puzzle and unlock the next one.

🎮 Controls

On desktop, press and hold the mouse on the first letter, drag across the word in a straight line, then release on the last letter. On touch screens, swipe your finger from the first letter to the last. A coloured highlight line follows your selection, just like marking a word on paper.

💡 Hints & Tools

• Tap 💡 Hint to briefly reveal the location of one unfound word (costs a few points).
• Use ⛶ Full Screen for a larger, more comfortable board.
• Toggle Theme for relaxing light or dark mode, and Sound to mute audio.

⭐ Scoring & Progression

• Each word found scores points based on its length and the current level.
• Finishing faster and using fewer hints keeps your score high.
• This is an endless word search game: every new puzzle grows gradually larger and trickier, with bigger grids, more words and new word directions.
• Your level, score, statistics and current board are saved automatically.
