How to Play Hoop Sort

🎮 Controls

On desktop, click a pole to lift the top hoop, then click another pole to drop it on. On touch screens, tap to lift and tap again to place. Tap the same pole again to put the hoop back. Use the ⛶ Full Screen button for an immersive experience.

🎯 Game Rules

• Each pole holds up to 4 colored hoops.
• You can only move the top hoop (or a stack of same-colored hoops on top) from a pole.
• A hoop can be placed on another pole if the top hoop colors match or the pole is empty.
• The goal is to stack all hoops so each pole contains only one color.

⭐ Star Rating

• 1 Star — Complete the puzzle
• 2 Stars — Complete within the goal move limit
• 3 Stars — Complete within goal without using undo

💡 Tips

• Plan ahead — think several moves in advance before committing.
• Keep empty poles free as workspace for rearranging hoops.
• Focus on completing one color stack at a time when possible.
• Use the Undo button if you make a mistake.
• Multiple same-colored hoops on top of a pole move together automatically.
