❓ How to Play

Goal

Guide your penguin as far as possible across an endless frozen world. Every step forward is a meter of distance — beat your best!

Controls

• Desktop: Arrow keys or W A S D to hop. Up moves forward.
• Mobile: Swipe in any direction, or use the on-screen pad.
• P or the ⏸ button pauses.

Golden rule: keep moving

If you stand still too long a ❄️ warning ring appears over your penguin and fills up. Let it fill completely and a blizzard sweeps you away — so pause to time a crossing, but don't camp. Any hop resets the ring.

Hazards

• Deep water — the dark water is deadly; hop across only on the raised ice floes. Time your jump for when a floe is under you, ride it, then hop off onto the far bank.
• Cracking ice — the greyish tiles with fracture lines shatter about a second after you step on them. Don't linger.
• Polar bears charge along road lanes — wait for a gap, then cross.
• Seals block tiles — hop around them.
• Slippery ice slides you one extra tile in the same direction.
• Falling icicles drop in the Ice Canyon and Blizzard Peaks — watch the shadow and keep moving.

Collect

Grab 🐟 fish, 🪙 coins, 💎 gems, 🎁 chests and rare ✨ artifacts. Spend coins in the 🐧 Penguins menu to unlock new characters, and finish 🎯 missions for bonus coins.

Combo & power-ups

Collect pickups back-to-back to build a 🔥 combo multiplier (up to x5) — the higher your combo, the more each 🪙 is worth, so chaining pickups (including the risky ones on cracking ice and in bear lanes) really pays off. Let a few seconds pass without collecting and the combo resets. Two rare power-ups turn up too: 🛡️ Shield absorbs one hit from a bear, cracking ice, an icicle or the blizzard, and 🧲 Magnet briefly pulls every nearby collectible straight to you.

Regions unlock by distance

The world flows through six arctic biomes. There's nothing to buy or grind — each region opens automatically as you travel farther. A new biome begins every 44 m, so just keep waddling to reach Glacier Valley, Snowy Forest, Ice Canyon and beyond. The strip along the bottom shows each region and the distance where it unlocks.

Travel through six hand-crafted arctic regions — Frozen Coast, Glacier Valley, Snowy Forest, Ice Canyon, Arctic Research Outpost and the dreaded Blizzard Peaks — each with its own palette, lighting and dangers.

All art, models, sounds, music and branding are 100% original and copyright-safe, generated procedurally in the browser. No downloads, no tracking, just play.
